Chloe's Day Out

Yesterday, I planned on going to see Sex and the City with my girlfriends. Chloe got to spend the afternoon at CC and Clint's House. They enjoyed having her, playing with her, and even changing those poopy diapers. It was nice for me to get out of the house and enjoy some time with the girls. I took some cute pictures of her before her big play date!

Bath Time

This weekend, Chloe got her first real bath in her bathtub. She absolutely LOVED it! She smiled and talked all the way through it. I was happy that she enjoyed it so much. Now, when she is cranky, we can give her a bath to calm her down.

A Busy Weekend

This weekend was busy for Chloe. She met many Tias, Tios, and Cousins. Sarah's Tia Gerry and Noemi came from California. Sarah's brother and sister-in-law visited from New Mexico. John's sisters from Austin also came up to meet the newest member of the family. I will post more pictures as the family sends them to me!

Congrats!!

Last night, we attended a dinner honoring two of our favorite Baylor Graduates. Laura and Erica Paulus graduated on Saturday. It was a wonderful night, mostly due to being with friends that are like family. The whole Paulus clan was in town, which hasn't happened since Claire's wedding. It was wonderful to catch up and introduce Chloe. This also gave me the opportunity to dress Chloe up in a dress that Grandma Terry made. She was a cute as a button! The best part of the evening was that she was on her BEST behavior, sleeping through most of the evening and waking up only to eat. Everyone, even the owner, was amazed at our angel!

We also send our congratulations to Tio Daniel, whose 3 years of hard work has paid off. Today he can call himself a lawyer!

Oh What A Night....

Friday night was one of the more difficult ones we have experienced. Although, I am sure that we will have many more! Chloe did not want to be out of our arms. Every time we put her down she would cry. That left us taking shifts between her 45 minute sleep cycles. After I took my shower Saturday morning, I walked into this.....which says it all!

A New Toy

We just started using her swing and it looks like she likes it!

Bath Time

Everyday, John and I have tried to get out of the house with Chloe. It is usually for an errand or doctor's appointment, but getting her ready for our outing is so much fun. I pick out her outfit, socks, and blanket (all matching, of course), sponge bathe her, and dress her. It is one of the best moments in my day!

I can't believe that it has been one week since Chloe came into our lives. We are having a wonderful time with this little bundle of joy. Here is a picture of her first few minutes of life!
